With the announcement of the World Taekwondo Federation, with the withdrawal of China from hosting the World Championships, the date of the competition was postponed and it was decided that these competitions will be held in the last quarter of 2022.
The World Championships are held every two years. Previously, these competitions were scheduled to be held in October 2021 (October 1400), but due to the outbreak of the coronavirus, the date was postponed to April 2022 (April 1401), and now it has been postponed again.
The world championship is G14 and the first to third place winners will be awarded 140, 84 and 50.40 points, respectively, in order to increase their Olympic ranking.
