According to Mehr News Agency, Alireza Rezaei said about holding the Premier Freestyle Wrestling Premier League: “The league has much better conditions than last year, because it was the only indoor sport that was licensed last year and the competitions were held in full compliance with health protocols.”
He added: “This year, as the number of teams has increased, the federation and the league organization have been able to centralize these competitions and we have had better conditions than last year.”
The Olympic silver medalist stated: “The power of the teams is divided into groups, four powerful teams, all of which claim to be able to contribute to the attractiveness of the league.”
He added: “Our round of competitions in group A was held in Mashhad and our group consisted of Omid Lorestan teams and Naderi Khadem Khorasan Academy.” They are young teams and respectable, our team is also a good team consisting of well-known and consistent wrestlers. All the kids on my team were good and their condition is getting better day by day and we do our training with the program every day.
The world heavyweight bronze medalist stated: “When the competitions become centralized, it takes the form of a league and is held on a round trip basis.” This can help the development of the wrestling more than last year, and the attractiveness of the league has increased a lot due to the distribution of wrestlers in different teams.
He said: “We will start our camp from today and we will be in the camp until the day of the match so that we can perform very well in the return round.”
