According to IRNA; Yesterday, some heads of provincial taekwondo delegations sent a letter to the Minister of Sports and Youth demanding the annulment of the federation’s election assembly. Today (Sunday), another group of heads of delegations and some members of the assembly presented a letter to “Seyed Hamid Sajjadi” and, presenting reasons, considered the result of the assembly completely legal and demanded the issuance of the chairmanship of “Hadi Saei”.

Greetings and Regards
We would like to inform you that a number of people outside the General Assembly of the Taekwondo Federation have made statements and sent them to some esteemed members of the assembly, with bribes and sometimes threats, intending to obtain its approval, but with the ingenuity of the esteemed members. The assembly was confronted and this issue was not only not approved but also considered necessary in order for the following issues to reach your Excellency in response:
1- According to the indisputable principles of the Constitution, elections in the Islamic Republic of Iran are based on the principles of independence, freedom and the majority vote.
2- According to paragraph 1 of Article 15 of the Articles of Association of Sports Federations, approved by the esteemed Council of Ministers on 2/15/1400, which also happens to be cited in the text of the above-mentioned statement: (vote) of the absolute majority of members …
Explaining that the legislator emphasizes the number (votes cast) and the principle is the number of votes that are taken out of the ballot box and counted.
Simply put, the legislature, by quoting the word (votes) at the beginning of the absolute majority of the members present, relied on the same principles of the constitution that the people present, having the power to cast their ballots, based the principle on the number of votes counted. The ballot box does not know the number of people who are present at the polling station, and if the people who are present at the assembly but do not participate in the voting are considered as absentees, the idea that some are present but do not participate in the voting is included in the number of votes. Donors are not considered by the legislature.
A person who does not participate in the voting, according to the legal rule (action), acts against himself and considers himself absent, and therefore it cannot be considered a right for the absent persons, in which case the rights of those who participated in the voting will be violated. It is not respectable.
Simply put, those who do not vote are not present.
3- As you are aware, the esteemed representative of the Ministry of Sports officially announced that he will not participate in the voting (not only was he not objected to by the members of the assembly, but they also explicitly confirmed the absence of one person by confirming the voting). 56 people were announced and voted.
The quorum (half plus one) was exactly 29 votes officially announced by the esteemed chairman of the assembly as the absolute majority vote and was again approved by the esteemed members of the assembly.
4- The authors of the above-mentioned statement referred to the elections of other federations to disturb His Majesty’s mind. What is the subject of absolute minimum?
Secondly, it is very wrong for the Taekwondo Federation to confuse other versions of federations, and it is certain that the authors have resorted to other people’s versions for no reason or evidence.
Third: As mentioned in other federations, the issue was discussed in the same meeting and was dragged to the second round with the vote of the members of the assembly, but in the assembly of the Taekwondo Federation, with the official announcement of the absence of one person, his absence was approved by the members of the assembly. Due to the accuracy of the number of votes cast from the ballot box with the number of votes cast, the subject of the Taekwondo Federation elections was finally approved by the members of the General Assembly.
5- Considering that A: The only legal decision-making authority for the election of the presidents of sports federations is the general assembly of that federation, and in Manhanfah, with the holding of the Taekwondo federation assembly and the presence of all sports representatives, members of the media, supervision of international sports associations and especially The supervision of the honorable people of Iran in cyberspace and the absence of the slightest disruption in the process of voting, counting, matching the number of voters with the number of votes counted from the ballot box, its accuracy has been confirmed by everyone at that moment.
In order to prevent the split of unity and empathy of the large Taekwondo family and to prevent misunderstandings for the honorable members of the General Assembly so that their votes are not ignored.
The presence of the legal president of the Taekwondo Federation at the place of the federation and the beginning of the programs and finally respect for the votes of the General Assembly, which are the summary of the great Taekwondo community of Iran.
It is requested not to pay attention to the statement sent against the law and to issue an order to expedite the notification of the legal president of the federation.
