According to the sports reporter of Tasnim news agency, Nasir Naimipour, after many struggles and with the court’s decision, finally took over the ownership of Damash Gilan club. Yesterday (Sunday) the introduction ceremony of Naimipour was held with the presence of the head of the football board and the general director of sports and youth of Gilan province.
Nevertheless, Nasser Zhemtkesh, who was the owner of Damash club, announced the withdrawal of Damash team from the first division football league in a letter to Almaskhaleh, the head of the Gilan football board, one day before this ceremony (Saturday, October 29).
It is heard that one of the checks of Naimipour, the new owner of Damash Club, was not passed, and according to this, the hard worker still owns the club.
Almasakhale wrote a letter to the Director General of Sports and Youth of Gilan Province. In this letter, the head of the Gilan Football Board announced that if Damash withdraws, it will fall to two lower ranks, i.e. the third division league, and asked the highest sports authority of Gilan to think of appropriate measures for this issue.
Having earned five points from the first eight weeks of League One, Damash is in the 17th place of the league table.
