Deaf Olympics | The national deaf football team failed to reach the semifinals

According to Fars News Agency, the match between the Iranian and French football teams in the quarterfinals of the Deaflympics in Brazil ended in a 2-1 victory for the French team.
The match started at 10:00 local time and at 17:30 Iranian time at the “Flores Dacons” stadium and the Iranian national team consisting of Mostafa Moradi, Shahin Barzegarfard, Milad Mohammadi, Abdolmehdi Hamouri, Alireza Basih (captain) , Mohsen Farzi, Ali Akbar Ahmadvand, Shahin Fassihi, Ali Salimi, Reza Jadiri and Sina Issa Pere went to the field.
Alireza Basih scored Iran’s only goal in the 20th minute and France’s goals in the 13th and 105th minutes.
Qader Teymouri as the head coach, Qader Dehghan, Mohammad Reza Khodri and Pejman Beikzadeh as the coaches and Sardar Paryad the support, are in charge of leading the Iranian national deaf football team.
The Iranian national football team advanced to the quarterfinals as the first team by winning four group stage games against Italy, the Netherlands, Brazil and Cameroon.
