Details of FIFA’s $10 million donation to the Iranian Federation

Sports Group of Fars News Agency, according to the latest FIFA report, the contribution of the Iranian Football Federation to the “Forward” project to help member federations was “9.9 million dollars equivalent to 500 billion Tomans”.

With this help from FIFA to the Iranian Football Federation in 4 years, two modern stadiums can be built, such as the Imam Reza Stadium in Mashhad (at a cost of 200 billion tomans).

FIFA invested a total of 2.79 billion dollars in this project, of which 20% went to the confederations and 80% to the federations (211 federations).

Every year, FIFA provides financial assistance to all member federations to strengthen their sports infrastructure with the help of these funds. Also, this institution previously allocated 150 million dollars to its members during the Corona period, and Iran’s share at that time was half a million dollars (25 billion tomans).

Regarding the details of its assistance to the Iranian Federation, FIFA reported that $5.5 million of this figure is related to operational costs, $4.3 million to projects and $0.1 million to equipment.
