DigiP, a gateway to smart payment

DigiP is one of the startups of the DigiCala group that operates in the field of payment. This startup, which started its activities in July 2017, has been able to expand its activities in a short period of time. We went with Mr. Hossam Najafi, the marketing manager of this collection, to get more information about the features of this business.

Explain to us how DigiP was created and what services it provides?

As you know, the field of payment and fintech is one of the most popular and attractive topics both in the startup ecosystem and in the field of business. The large group of Digikala was definitely interested in entering this space and using the potentials that exist in the field of fintech. Accordingly, they invested in the startup Hema Pay, which was later renamed to DigiPay. DigiP started its official activity in July 2017. The first product offered by DigiP is smart IPG, which you can see at the time of payment on the DigiKala website. This product is also used in applications such as Elopik, Rihun and Digistyle.

The second and important product that we are working on introducing at the Elcomp exhibition is the DigiP application. Through this application, users can make their daily payments. Activities such as purchase of recharge, card to card, bill payment, road toll payment are among the services provided in DigiPay.

DigiP’s slogan is smart payment. It is focused on being the smartest app in the payment industry. It means that in the future, people can submit their paid work to the program so that it can be done regularly and continuously, and only need to get a confirmation from them.

Another issue that is being worked on in the DigiP application is the DigiP wallet. The wallet has existed in Iran’s payment industry since the past, but it was not in a way that was smart and attractive and the user could communicate with it. The user preferred to work with his personal account instead. At DigiPay, we add services to our wallet to make it attractive for the user to use the DigiPay wallet for money transfers and payments, instead of the customer making payments through his personal account and card.

DigiP has plans to produce other products, among which we can mention the smart dashboard, which has not reached the official introduction stage yet.
