According to Tasnim news agency, despite the good purchases it has made this summer, Juventus has not had a good start in this season and has lost in the last few games against Paris Saint-Germain and Benfica in the group stage of the European Champions League and against Monteza in the Italian Serie A. This has caused some fans to demand the dismissal of Massimiliano Allegri, an issue that has apparently caused a difference between the heads of the Inter club.
The Italian newspaper “Corriere della Sera” reported about this; Juventus vice-president Paul Nedode along with some other members of the club’s board of directors want to end the cooperation with Allegri, while the president of the club Andrea Agnelli wants to keep this Italian coach and continue working with him.
In a meeting that Nedved had with the members of the board of directors of the Juventus club, he spoke strongly about the idea of firing Max Allegri, while Maurizio Arrivabne, the executive director of the club, rejected this idea because of the high cost it would put on the club. If Juve wants to fire their 55-year-old head coach, they will have to pay him half of his total salary remaining on his current contract.
Agnelli even phoned Allegri recently to reassure him that he would stay with the team, but the Juventus boss is said to be monitoring the situation closely. The shareholders’ meeting of the club will be held in October, and the club is losing money, and this is the main reason for Allegri’s stay at Juve, because his dismissal will leave more money on the club’s hands.
