According to the Mehr news agency and quoting the Volleyball Federation, Amir Khoshkhabar, regarding the team sent to the Asian Men’s Championship, said: “The national volleyball team has entered this competition with an evolved lineup, headed by an Iranian coach.”

He said that we are witnessing a new face of the Iranian national volleyball team in the Asian Championship, adding: “This event is promising for the days when domestic coaches will lead the national team.”

Khoshkhobar continued: “With these new conditions, young players and Iranian coaches should not be judged only by the result of a tournament.” I hope they get the desired result, but if that does not happen, they should be restrained and given a chance.

The former head coach of the national volleyball team pointed to the skinning done in the national team and said: “In every team, there is a change of generation and youthfulness, but I believe there are still good old players who are national capital and can serve volleyball.” These changes can be extensive and very slow. I take everything for granted.

Looking at Iran’s opponents in the Asian Championships, he stated: “Iran’s opponents in these competitions are our traditional opponents in Asia, and I think we have a hard job against them.”
The Japanese team will be transformed by participating in the Olympics. South Korea, China and even Australia have definitely sent good teams to the tournament and will challenge other teams. The presence of the Pakistani team under the coaching of Rahman Mohammadi Rad and the match against Iran will be a very good and difficult match for Iranian volleyball.

Khoshkhabar added in the end, expressing hope for a good result from the national team in Japan: I think the level of the Iranian team is technically, technically and tactically superior to all teams, despite the young composition.
