Driessen: There is no reason not to continue working with Neuer/I would like to keep Musyala in the team

According to Tasnim news agency, in an interview with the German television program “BR24”, Jan Christian Driesen said about the professional future of the 37-year-old goalkeeper of Bayern Munich, whose current contract expires at the end of this season: Neuer after returning from his injury (after 10 months to return fields) has played a game now. I think we have to let him play and at the right time we will sit down and talk about it calmly.

He added: Neuer has done wonderful things for this club, and for that reason we thank him very much. We have shown in the past that we tend to keep players on merit as much as possible and Manuel is one of those players. If Neuer continues to play at the level we want, there is no reason why we would not want to continue working with him.

The executive director of the Bayern Munich club also stated about the young phenomenon of the Bavarians: “I really like to keep Musyala in the team.” He is an amazing footballer. Jamal has a pure talent and continues to improve due to the many opportunities ahead of him. We will do our best to have him for a long time.

The 20-year-old Musiali, whose current contract with Bayern Munich is valid until the end of June 2026, has played in 11 games for the Bavarians this season, scoring 4 goals and making 3 assists for his teammates.
