Stating that an academic degree is helpful in creating employment, he added: People with disabilities are encouraged to study in the fields of business and entrepreneurship. An academic degree helps them to be more successful in employment.

Irvani added: In cooperation with the Employment Secretariat, we intend to organize events that help the discussion of entrepreneurship, as well as conferences to celebrate top entrepreneurs or entrepreneurs who attract disabled people.

Compilation of the guidelines for the chain of employment of the disabled

The Head of the Disabled Persons Empowerment Office of the National Welfare Organization, emphasizing the importance of developing the concept of work psychology and success in creating employment for the disabled, said: Many people with disabilities do not have the courage to enter the labor market and are involved in limiting beliefs that are much more severe than their physical and mental limitations. Until these beliefs are resolved, he will not enter the job market.

Irvani added: In order to implement the comprehensive package of services, we want to know our current situation in the first step. As a result, we established the product bank to see what products people with disabilities are currently producing and how much they can produce each month.

Referring to the development of a manual on employment and the employment chain, he said: This manual includes the cycle of supply, production, distribution and sales, and we counted these items so that people can sell the manufactured products through different markets. For this purpose, operational and provincial plans have been considered, a joint committee has been formed with the organization’s employment secretariat, which has weekly meetings, so that we can take effective steps in this direction.

Holding entrepreneurship camps for the disabled

The Head of the Disabled Persons Empowerment Office of the National Welfare Organization said: For the first time, in order to make policies in various fields of employment for the disabled, including the blind, deaf, physically disabled and other people with disabilities, we should be able to, with the presence of associations, elites and other disability experts, all employment policies Let’s review ourselves and brainstorming sessions will be held so that we can identify new job opportunities and plans that can support supported employment at home in different categories.

Irvani added: We want to use the capacities of the technical and professional organization for training and receiving technical and professional certificates. One of our plans is to hold entrepreneurship camps where we can take 56 people with disabilities who are prepared for self-employment to visit workshop, professional and production centers and they can interview successful entrepreneurs and receive their experiences.

He continued: In addition, memorandums of understanding have been concluded with various business partners, including the Barkat Foundation, Omid Entrepreneurship Fund, and entrepreneurship counseling centers, and connections have been established so that we can use their experiences and the opportunities they provide, so that we can make disabled associations active in the field of employment. and lead empowerment charities to form centers of empowerment charities in the field of employment.

Training of job facilitators and a 5-year program for the independence of the disabled

The head of the disabled empowerment office of the country’s welfare organization said: “We are trying to conduct research in the field of job creation and through comparative studies, we can count the experiences and successful models of other countries.”

Stating that we have many plans in the field of sales, Irvani added: among these plans is the creation of sales markets in the form of permanent and temporary exhibitions, as well as moving towards platforms, in which the employment secretariat has coordinated. In line with the actions of the organization’s employment secretariat, we want to use these platforms and startups to be able to sell the products of people with disabilities.

Calling the existing process of manufacturing products for the disabled as passive, he said: In this process, the applicants receive the sale of facilitated products, but in the desired process, the missing link that caused the employments to not reach sustainability was removed with the training of job facilitators.

The head of the Office of Empowerment of the Disabled of the country’s welfare organization said: after receiving training, job facilitators perform identification, talent and interest assessment, career guidance and counseling and refer the person to basic training, and after this person completes 3 months of basic training After passing the necessary certification for technical skills through vocational training centers or informal training, the teacher receives an apprenticeship and then prepares to start his own business. reach.

Irvani pointed out: If these measures are taken as a comprehensive package and resources are provided for it, during a 5-year program, we can remove a large number of people with disabilities from the support cycle and bring them to financial independence.
