According to the sports reporter of Tasnim News Agency, Esteghlal Club sent a letter to the head of the Iranian Professional Football League and announced that according to the decision of the Football Federation’s Board of Directors, the salary increase limit for the players for the next season is 25%, but Sepahan Club has violated this law.
In their letter, the Esteghlalis emphasized that the Sepahan club sometimes transferred the contract amount of some of its new players to the next season, and this increase was even up to 200%.
Esteghlal Club emphasized that this issue is against the resolution of the Football Federation’s Board of Directors, by alleging disruption in the economic system of Iran’s football transfers, and requested to refer the club’s objection to Sepahan Club’s violation to the disciplinary committee.
