Tehran – IRNA – The head of the Department of Oriental Studies at the University of Georgia said: Georgians’ familiarity with the Shahnameh was not limited to the educated class or nobles, but included all people. As the people of Georgia used to name their children after the heroes of the Shahnameh, and these names are still very common among Georgians.
