FIFA determined the seeding of the Beach Soccer World Cup

According to Fars Sports Reporter, FIFA announced the lottery method for the 2024 UAE Beach Soccer World Cup.

The 16 participating teams were divided into four seeds based on the ranking system and performance in the previous five World Cups.

2021: 100% total points value
2019: 80% of total points value
2017: 60% of total points value
2015: 40% of total points value
2013: 20% of total points value

In addition, five bonus points were awarded to each of the current champions of the confederations.

According to the regulations, the host UAE was placed in A1 position and Brazil, as the team with the highest points in the ranking, was placed in D1 position.

Two teams from the same continent cannot be in the same group, for this reason, according to the seeding done and the presence of Japan and the UAE in seed 1, Iran’s national beach soccer team is definitely in the same group as one of the teams from Brazil or Tahiti.
