Flamengo made a comeback and won the third place in the Club World Cup

According to Tasnim news agency, the 2022 Club World Cup classification match was held tonight (Saturday) in Morocco between the two losers of the semi-final stage, namely Flamengo of Brazil and Al-Ahly of Egypt, which ended with Al-Ahly winning 4-2.

In this game, former Inter striker Gabriel Barbosa gave Flamengo the lead from the penalty spot in the 11th minute. In the following, Ahmed Abdul Qadir scored twice for the representative of the African continent in the 37th and 60th minutes to turn the page in favor of the Egyptians. Meanwhile, Ali Maaloul, the player who assisted Al-Ahli’s first goal, missed a penalty in the 58th minute. Everything was moving towards the victory of Al-Ahly until the player of this team, Abdul Fatih, received a straight red card from the referee in the 69th minute.

Al-Ahly’s 10-man squad made it difficult for this team to keep the result, and finally, Flamengo tied Karar again with Pedro’s goal in the 77th minute. In the 86th minute, Barbosa scored for the second time from the penalty spot to give Flamengo the lead again, and Pedro’s second goal in the first minute of stoppage time sealed the victory for the representative of South America.

In this way, the champion of last season’s Libertadores Cup won the ranking game and won the third place in the Club World Cup.

The final match of this competition will be held at 22:30 tonight between the teams of Real Madrid and Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia.
