According to Mehr news agency, citing the public relations of the volleyball federation, the preliminary stage of the 2023 Nations League volleyball tournament started today (Tuesday, June 16) in the men’s group. The first week of these competitions will be hosted by Ottawa in Canada and Nagoya in Japan from June 16 to 21, and the national volleyball teams of Iran and Japan (the host) lined up against each other on the first day of the competition, and the national team of our country lost 3-0.
Iran’s volleyball men will rest tomorrow morning (Wednesday, June 17) and according to Behrouz Atai, the team’s training will be followed in the afternoon. Based on this, the national team will have a ball training session from 14:30 Japan time. This exercise in one of the secondary halls Gaishi Hall will be held.
Iran’s national volleyball team will face Poland on Thursday evening, June 18, in its second match in the League of Volleyball Nations. China and Slovenia will be the other rivals of Behrouz Atai’s students in this week’s tournament.
