«عليمحمد بسحاق» In an interview with IRNA on Thursday, he said about the election of Hadi Saei as the new president of the Taekwondo Federation: “The meeting was well held, although some of Saei, like three clubs, ruled out it at the last minute.”
He explained that Taekwondo had a brilliant performance in the early years of Seyed Mohammad Poladgar’s presence, but over time moved on the bar of failure: Poladgar did not have sports management. I worked as a national team coach for about 12 years, but he did not come to the camp five times. Running away from heroes and veterans was another important factor. I was the coach of the national team and I worked with him, but I was left out for no reason, which did not matter to anyone at all. Also, the champions and coaches were not encouraged and it was not an attractive issue in the federation.
“Be assured that from now on, Taekwondo will be the Democratic Federation so that everyone can comment on the way forward,” he said.
Regarding Iran’s difficult path to success in the Paris Olympics, Bashaq said: “Certainly, these two and a half years of hard work and his team are very hard.” Taekwondo is a ruin, but with empathy and effort, it can definitely win an Olympic medal.
The Taekwondo Federation’s election convention was held on Wednesday, and Hadi Saei was named the new president of the Olympic Federation with 29 votes. Poladgar also won 27 votes.
Poladgar had previously chaired the federation for about 21 years.
