Former US Secretary of State emphasized on supporting unrest in Iran – Mehr news agency Iran and world’s news

According to Mehr news agency, quoted by CNN, Mike Pompeo, the former US Secretary of State, continued Washington’s support for Iran’s unrest, claiming that there is no hope for cooperation with the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran!

Pompeo claimed that there is no reason for the US to continue negotiating or cooperating with the Iranian government; According to him, the government of Joe Biden, the current president of the United States, is trying for this purpose.

Referring to his time as US Secretary of State during the presidency of Donald Trump, the former president of this country, Pompeo admitted that the previous US administration had done all it could to support the riots and continue them.

Continuing the open support of the American statesmen for the disturbances in Iran, he claimed: Our approach started with a clear emphasis that the people of Iran should be fully supported. Pompeo continued to make Iran’s internal situation look inflamed, and claimed that the Biden government and the world should continue to condemn Tehran.

Following the death of Mehsa Amini on 25 September, the governments of the United States, Canada and a number of Western countries, by adopting hostile and interventionist positions and claiming to defend human rights, imposed extensive sanctions against Iran and acted by creating atmosphere and showing the internal conditions of Iran as inflammatory. They have kept riots alive with artificial respiration!
