From handicrafts exhibition to pottery training workshop in the cities of Tehran province


According to an IRNA report on Sunday from the General Directorate of Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts of Tehran Province, 40 exhibitions and training courses will be held in Tehran and 15 cities of the province on the occasion of Handicrafts Week.

The head of Pardis Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Department announced the holding of a handicrafts exhibition at the Pardis Grand Mosque on the occasion of Handicrafts Week and added: Carpentry, wooden volumes, traditional rugs, kilim weaving, inlay work, seven-color tiles and inlay work are held.

Somayeh Khakpour He continued: This exhibition is to be held in cooperation with the affairs of mosques, the education department, the central district and the municipality of Pardis city.

The head of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Department of Pardis city said: The time for holding the Pardis Handicrafts Exhibition is from 25 to 29 June.

Pottery training workshop in Qarchak

The head of the Department of Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts of Qarchak city announced the holding of a pottery workshop in Gheshlagh village and said: “In this workshop, the techniques of making pottery with wheels will be taught.”

Maryam Khodabandeh He said: The participants in this course will be trained in the practical designs of pottery and the techniques of baking pottery in the kiln.

He reminded: The pottery workshop will be held today, Sunday, June 12, in Gheshlagh village.

Exhibition of the abilities of Pishva handicraft artists

The head of the Department of Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts of Pishva city announced the holding of an exhibition of the abilities of artists and handicraftsmen in the place of traditional citadels of the historical water reservoir of the bazaar.

Majid Jalehnia He added: “In this exhibition, artists will produce live handicrafts while presenting their products.”

He continued: “Promoting and developing handicrafts is another part of the goals of this exhibition for visitors.”

He said: The exhibition of the abilities of artists and craftsmen of handicrafts will be held from 22 to 24 June in the place of the traditional arts organ, the traditional water reservoir of the bazaar.

Handicrafts Exhibition in Firoozkooh

The head of the Department of Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts of Firoozkooh announced the opening of an handicrafts exhibition with the presence of Abolghasem Mehri, the governor of Firoozkooh, in the tourist destination village of Harandeh.

He pointed out: In this exhibition, the products of artists will be offered to tourists without intermediaries.

According to the official, Harandeh village is popular with tourists due to its various natural attractions such as caves, rivers and orchards, and this is a good opportunity to sell and offer handicrafts.

An exhibition of handicrafts is being held in the cities of Tehran province with the participation of artists in various fields with the aim of supporting entrepreneurship from 20 to 26 June.

In Iran, more than three million artists and artisans work in 300 different fields of traditional arts and crafts.
