Gaultier disappointed Icardi to stay at PSG

According to Tasnim news agency, Mauro Icardi’s departure from Paris Saint-Germain was almost certain with the new statement of the head coach of this team, Christophe Gaultier, about the future of the Argentinian player.

Gaultier stated that the 28-year-old former Inter striker, who joined the Parisians two years ago, has no place in his tactical plans and that it is in his best interest to look for an opportunity to play in another team.

In a press conference before his team’s game against Montpoli, the head coach of the Parisians responded to a question about the future of Mauro Icardi and the rumor of the player’s departure, saying: “The club and Mauro are trying to find the best possible solution.” Icardi has had little chance to play and I think the best option for him is to continue his football in another team that suits him better.

Last season, Icardi missed a few training sessions and games of Paris Saint-Germain due to issues related to his personal life, and it seems that this issue also influenced the decision of the club and the technical staff to exclude him from the team’s tactical plans, although he recently appeared on the social networks of this He denied the issue and gave a harsh response to the media.

Paris Saint-Germain has 20 more days to find a way to transfer Icardi, otherwise he will continue to be on the bench for another year at Parc du Prince.
