In today’s competition (Tuesday), Gholami lost to the representative of Kazakhstan after taking a break in the first round, and then won the bronze medal by winning against the representative of Kyrgyzstan. In this style, the representative of the UAE won the gold medal and the representative of Kazakhstan won the silver. The Colombian athlete also won a joint bronze medal with Gholami.

Reza Shafiei, the representative of our country’s plus 94 kg weight, after winning against the representative of Thailand, was defeated by an opponent from Angola. In the course of the competition, due to a rib injury, he was removed from the competition table by the order of the competition doctor.
Mehran Sattar defeated his Colombian opponent in the first fight at a weight of minus 62 kg, but in the second fight he was defeated against the French representative. Sattar defeated opponents from Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan and Sweden in the table of chances, but after losing in the ranking match against the representative of the Netherlands, he placed fifth.
