Governor: Takab women entrepreneurs should work to revive handicrafts in the region

Amir Sotoudehfar on Tuesday visited a unit of production and supply of women’s handicrafts in the city, referring to the government’s support for handicraft production projects and payment of facilities to local and rural producers, added: Revive and attract regional handicrafts and entrepreneurship in this field.
“Encouraging and educating young people to produce handicrafts can create jobs, so women entrepreneurs should be more active in this field,” she said.
The Governor of Takab, emphasizing that the relevant departments facilitate the activities of women artists and handicraft producers and act faster in issuing licenses, said: Cyberspace and social networks are a suitable and new platform for introducing, selling and offering Takab handicrafts.
Sotoudehfar added: Women entrepreneurs should use their handicraft products and products to introduce more of the capabilities of the region, supply and sell them, and create economic prosperity and added value for Takab by using the facilities and platform of cyberspace.
The governor of Takab visited a female artist’s handicraft workshop and a citizen’s traditional felt weaving workshop on Tuesday.
Takab is one of the southern cities of West Azerbaijan and in addition to Afshar hand-woven carpets, kilims, jajims, rugs and felts are other handicraft products of this city, the texture and production of which are now flourishing.
In this city, more than 30 women entrepreneurs are engaged in commercial and economic activities in the field of handicrafts and visual arts.
