Haddadi: Attending the Asian Cup is exciting

According to IRNA, the 2022 Asian Basketball Cup started today (Tuesday) hosted by Indonesia, and the Iranian national basketball team will be one of the 16 teams present in this event.

In this regard, the World Basketball Federation talked with the stars of the team present in these competitions, including Hamed Haddadi.

The basketball star of our country said in this conversation: I am excited for every match and participation in every tournament and I like to see good players up close.

He added: Teams like Australia and New Zealand have good players and meeting and competing with such teams is good for our players.

Haddadi reminded: “For growth and development, we must play with good and big teams, and this is an opportunity and we must take advantage of it.”

Saeed Armaghani’s students, who had a training session in Turkey after leaving Tehran, are ready to meet their rivals after arriving in Indonesia, the venue of the tournament.

It should be mentioned that Iran’s national basketball team is in Group C of the Asian Cup with the teams of Syria, Kazakhstan and Japan, and according to the schedule, they have to face their rivals.
