In an interview with the sports reporter of Tasnim news agency, Mojtabi Haqdoost said about the extension of his contract with Pikan Club: I feel comfortable here and I like working with Mojtabi Hosseini, that’s why I decided to stay. I had several offers that paid me more than Pikan, but money was not important to me and I considered mostly technical issues and football development.
In response to the question, “Can Pikan achieve better results in the new league than last season?”, he pointed out: We had a good team last season, but we were unlucky in some games and scored at the wrong time. For the new season, however, we will have a stronger team and our effort is to achieve much better results than last season.
The midfielder of Pikan football team said about his team’s friendly match against Persepolis, which was accompanied by the defeat of Hosseini’s students: Our team did not deserve to lose in any way and unfortunately we did not take advantage of the opportunities. In the first half, we had four or five good opportunities, and if we had used these opportunities, we would have definitely defeated Persepolis.
