According to Tasnim news agency, the national football teams of Syria and Lebanon will face each other tomorrow night (Tuesday) hosted by Jordan in the fourth round of Group A matches of the final stage of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers in Asia.
The head coach of the Lebanese national football team, Ivan Hashek, praised the team spirit, determination and remarkable efforts of his team in the Jordanian army, and stated that he is optimistic about the team for the result in the match against Syria.
The Lebanese national football team has two points with two draws against the national teams of the UAE and Iraq and one defeat against South Korea, and is ranked fourth in the Group A table.
On the other hand, following the recent defeat of his team against South Korea and on the eve of the important game against Lebanon, the head coach of the Syrian national football team, Nizar Mahrous, said: “We are not disappointed at all and we will seek compensation.” There will be no room for flexibility in the game against Lebanon.
