Hashemi: Against Bahrain, we showed that we are the best team in Asia

The head coach of the Iranian national basketball team also referred to the Bahrain game and said: “I think they can create a challenge for them against Syria and Kazakhstan, and it remains to be seen what the results will be in those games.”

At the end of the first stage of the 2023 World Cup qualifiers, which include the first, second and third windows, the top three teams in each group will advance to the second round of the qualifiers, which includes the fourth to sixth windows.
Accordingly, 12 teams from the Asia-Pacific region will advance to the second qualifying round of the 2023 World Cup.
