Head of Maragheh Branch: Supporting rural employment is a priority for the Omid Entrepreneurship Fund



In an interview with IRNA on Monday, Ali Javan added: “By granting this amount of facilities, 160 new job opportunities have been created for people in various fields such as beekeeping, cold storage, greenhouses and packaging units.”

He added: “The main purpose of this fund is to support small and rural rural and nomadic businesses, and in this regard, it has memorandums of cooperation with support organizations such as welfare and Imam Khomeini Relief Committee, as well as the Martyr and Jihad Agricultural Foundation.” .

Emphasizing that the facilities provided by the fund will be granted with an interest rate of 4% and 6%, he added: “If the employment plan of the applicants is justified, these facilities will be granted without restrictions to create new job opportunities or support the job stabilization of villagers and nomads.” Be.

According to him, the financial resources of this fund are provided from government sources as well as public deposits, and the provision of employment facilities in the Maragheh Entrepreneurship Fund will continue until the end of this year.

He added: Last year, 130 facilities worth seven billion and 700 million tomans were granted, and this year the volume of facilities will reach the same amount.

According to IRNA, the Omid Entrepreneurship Fund was created in 2006 from the merger of the Gharz al-Hasna Rural Employment Development Fund and the Youth Marriage Fund into the Job Opportunity Support Fund.

The mission of Omid Entrepreneurship Fund is to equip people’s micro-deposits and integrate them with government credits, identify eligible youth, empower them and help create low-capital and user micro-businesses with a focus on entrepreneurial activities, regional needs, IT-based business development, etc. .
