Heavy criticism of the wrestling veteran of Abbas Jadidi’s recent statements – Mehr news agency Iran and world’s news

According to Mehr reporter, some time ago, Abbas Jadidi’s statements regarding the state of the national team during his time in this team and addressing Mansour Barzegar, a man who has tasted hot and cold in Iran and the world wrestling, were accompanied by various reactions. Many people of wrestling believed that making such statements after years and disrespecting the elders and veterans of wrestling is in no way beautifying this wrestling discipline and some issues and events within the wrestling family should not be brought up in the media.

In this regard, Bahram Mushtaqi, the gold medalist of the 1974 Asian Games in Tehran. Among the veterans of our country’s wrestling, in response to Abbas Jadi’s recent statements, he strongly complained about him and declared in a video interview: “The honor of the veteran and coach must be preserved.” Mansour Barzegar is our great leader and he has many rights. Abbas Jadi should not forget how much Barzegar worked for him and he is forever indebted to this great coach.

Stating that if we are going to plow the past, many other things will happen, Mushtakhi said: “Abbas new should know better what his place is in the wrestling community, so it is better to preserve the sanctities and not return to the past.” Not long ago, I saw Mansour Barzegar in a place where, unfortunately, it was very sad because of these issues and events, so I got really angry and sad about this situation.”

The veteran of the ship said to Abbas Jadidi: “After all these years, what does he want to prove with these words? If he wants to be seen in the media, there are better ways. Anyone who has won a few world or Olympic medals is not supposed to allow himself to insult his coach and veteran. Jadidi has brought pride to this country, his hand should not hurt, and he has been thanked and appreciated many times for his medals, but the era of being a champion is over and what remains is bravery, respect for elders and veterans, people, morals and humanity.

He added: “I don’t want to say more than this, which is not worthy of the country’s first sport, but I am so shocked by these events that I just wanted to warn about something new; Not me, but all the wrestling veterans are saddened by this incident, and I beg you to at least have the intention to console Mansour Barzegar.”

The former manager of the Ferangi national wrestling team pointed out: “Barzegar is not only respected by wrestling people, but also has a high and respectable position in the Iranian sports community.” You can be sure that if he wants to give a new answer to Abbas, no stone will be left unturned. In any case, anyone who has worked hard for this country should be respected, and in general, the problems within the family should be solved there, rather than telling it to everyone. I hope that from now on, if there is any discussion or complaint, it will be discussed and resolved in a private meeting.”
