Heydari: No referee wants to be the first role of the ground / Our radio systems were faulty

According to Fars news agency, Bijan Heydari said on the sidelines of the referees’ education seminar: In the first stage, they have decided that 32 referees in Iran will participate in this class. If they cannot do such a thing, they are thinking of sending Iranian international referees to countries that can hold these classes in order not to be left out of the FIFA and Asian competitions. At least our international referees will not have a gap between them and the Asian referees because all the important competitions in Asia are held with video check and if we do not have such a document, it will be as if we did not pass the physical fitness test.
He continued: Don’t doubt that we, the judges, demand the arrival of video check more than anyone else. Of course, the pressure is taken off the referees and all the decisions that are made end up on the field. More peace will be created for the refereeing community, the refereeing committee and finally for the teams and spectators. The teams should know that the referees are pushing ahead of them so that videocheck enters Iran as soon as possible.
Heydari said: All efforts, classes and seminars are for us to reduce our mistakes. No referee likes to be the first player on the pitch, no referee wants to be seen on the pitch. The audience came to watch football and did not come to watch the referee. We are confident that we will have a better year with fitness tests and classes.
He said: “It is a good seminar, the instructor is famous and they are present in UEFA and FIFA.” They were present in different countries and I am sure that they can add good information and experiences to Iranian judges. I hope that in these 3 days, we judges can make the most of these classes.
Heydari said: They signed a good contract with a new sponsor, which I hope will have a good impact on the future of football refereeing. Necessary tools such as radio and videocheck systems can enter the refereeing community sooner. All our radio systems were all down and we had problems. Maybe this simple radio system could have helped us a lot in many competitions. We hope that these efforts will yield results and that mistakes will be reduced.
