Regarding the arrival of a foreign coach for the women’s national team, he said: “We have made a change in the women’s national team, and they are just waiting for the arrival of a foreign coach.” When we were in Africa, we talked to the head of the world hockey and there they said that we will provide you with a coach. They offered us a Chinese coach who has revolutionized American women’s hockey, and we had a conversation with him, and he announced his readiness to come to Iran. Also, he stated in his speech that according to the potential of Iran, he can create transformation in the national team within one year.

Al-Padi added: These developments mean that Iran is the first or second team in Asia and the world. We also lost very close in the Asian tournament and all this shows that transformation can bring us to higher positions. The world of hockey is changing and expanding. In the World Championship, America was the leader of our group with 12 points, but you saw that we defeated this team in the ranking.

The head of the hockey federation said about the financial conditions of this federation: We have both field hockey and indoor hockey that we should pay attention to. In field hockey, we are among the top 10 teams in Asia, everyone knows that the first pole of field hockey in the world is Asia. For this reason, we need hardware and software facilities. We will build an international stadium in Azadi Stadium that we can host. The Asian Hockey Confederation will give Iran a donated lawn for $250,000. We also imported the goal and hockey sticks from Asia to have complete equipment in this field.

He added: We will be provided with equipment for 1402. The Ministry of Sports should consider an advance payment for us so that we can install the desired grass in this stadium and host the international soccer competition. The annual budget of the hockey federation is 3.5 billion, of which 1 billion is spent on personnel salaries. However, the situation is difficult, and in the meantime, both the Ministry of Sports and the National Olympic Committee have their help from this federation.

Regarding the sending of the national team to the world competition, Al-Gadi said: God helped the national team to be sent to this competition and we were not stressed about it. I went on many trips with the national team to be with the national team, but in these competitions, the reception of the Iranian ambassador was unique and they welcomed the national team very well, and he even cooked for the national team considering the need of the African people.
