Azim Jazideh in a conversation with Mehr reporter about the condition of the national volleyball team before participating in the Asian Championship said: “We have had a very good training for about 20 days and we followed the training with peace of mind.” At first, the situation was difficult because the Olympic players were mentally depressed, but over time we gave them energy and the national team coach injected good energy into the players’ minds.
The coach of the national volleyball team continued: “We injected double energy into the national team, which was healing.” We did not talk about the past because our goal was to progress and move forward. Some of the players who were the mainstay of the national team did not participate in the Asian Championship and it was difficult, but we were able to update very quickly so that we could figure out good things and get a position worthy of Iranian volleyball.
Jazideh, who was also present in the technical staff of Vladimir Alkeno at the Olympic Games, added: “The training system changed and we followed the training more regularly and in more time.” I feel very good and I am sure that good things will happen in the Asian Championship. We should not think about the past, everything that happened is related to the past, we should learn from it to move forward in the future. We need to improve our mental thinking and think big goals. However, there are wins and losses in sports, part of which was the responsibility of the players and part of the technical staff, it is important to learn from them and move forward in the future.
Asked where the difference is between the past and present technical staff of the volleyball team, he said: “My idea is to think well.” I do not want to talk about the past right now, but if the analysis and pathology session are formally held, I will definitely talk about the VNL and the Tokyo Olympics. Anyway, I was also part of the technical staff of the national volleyball team, but for now, I want to be optimistic.
The national team coach emphasized: “We have a hard job in Asia and we must focus on the Asian Championships.” After the Asian Championships, if there is a pathology session, I will definitely talk about it, and how much better to use people who were present at work in these sessions. I agree that some experts make speeches, but they speak based on what they have heard and the results that have been obtained.
