“Impo“ What is it and what problem does it solve?
Impo is a menstruation management application that wants to help its target community to deal with the issue of menstruation in a more physical, invisible and multidimensional way; In this course, users receive psychological support in addition to health advice, which can help their personal life and naturally help the interpersonal-social dimension and actually the interactions they have.
Of course, this is not the only issue that Impo is going to deal with, but we can say that this was the most fundamental service that started in the Impo project.
What made you decide to tackle this issue?
The collection in which we are working, intends to turn various ideas into applications and practical programs, and designing a period tracker application was a good idea of a colleague, but considering the concerns and approach that In our team, “Impo” was formed with a different model and identity than a simple period tracker.
What people cooperate with you?
In the initial steps, we were carrying out this project with very few people, but now, different people with different specializations collaborate in Impo; including psychologists, midwifery and health technology experts, etc. We are always trying to invite people who are experts and concerned at the same time to Impo and our team will grow bigger day by day.
In your opinion, what is the strength of the Impo team?
If I were to point out a key strength among all Impo’s strengths, I must point out that we, in the Impo team, do not look at the user and the audience simply as customers; Rather, all team members are concerned about the audience’s needs and their growth, and we feel responsible.
The common characteristic of the team members is that we all want to do our best to make the world a better place, and this is perhaps the most valuable asset of the Impo team and project.
Who does Impo’s target community include?
If I want to answer this question according to our general perspective, all people of different ages and conditions can be the audience of the Impo project; From young men and women, adults or even middle-aged people; But at the stage we are currently in, people who are in the period of menstruation and fertility, themselves or their spouses (partners), have been defined as the target community of this project.
How many active users does Impo have?
Currently, we have about 150,000 active users who fortunately have a very good and high level of interaction with the application on a daily basis.
You “Impo gentlemen“ you have also designed, which, along with the women’s version, provides information about the mental and physical conditions of a woman during menstruation to her husband. How were the feedbacks of the “Ham Deel Man” section?
It was much better than what we expected; Fortunately, it seems that this concern of mutual understanding and companionship in couples is well established in our culture and we receive many messages daily about the positive impact of the Impo application on couples’ relationships.
How do users interact with experts in the “Communication with the Guide” section?
In the expert communication section, we have experts in the fields of counseling, psychology, and midwifery who have their own panel. Users type their questions to our experts and receive the corresponding answer as soon as possible.
What is the reason for your special attention to the Instagram social network?
It is undeniable that people spend a lot of their daily time on social networks. This issue has created a very attractive opportunity for us to interact with our current audience and is also considered a very good way to influence social networks and attract more users. Our work is done by preparing and producing useful and effective content for the audience that spends a lot of time on this network.
It may seem strange, but our team has dedicated a lot of time to user interaction on Instagram; We review and respond to all directs on a daily basis. We listen to the opinions and suggestions of users and try to identify their needs well and consider suitable solutions for them.
Currently, there are dynamic competitors for your business; What competitive advantage have you defined?
In my opinion, this is the vision that is current in the Impo collection; That is, the importance and respect for the user and, in fact, the concern for value creation in our team, can be the difference and in other words, the advantage of our collection compared to other collections.
Of course, Impo definitely has other advantages: such as designing the application in a way that the user likes and can easily communicate with it; Fortunately, because we have a strong IT and design unit in our collection, we can go through the process of identifying the needs and expectations of the audience and solving them in the form of software and applications.
What are the conditions for setting up a startup in Mashhad?
I think that Mashhad, as a metropolis, has a very good capacity to launch startups and attract audiences, and in this regard, it does not have a deep and fundamental difference with the city of Tehran. In addition, due to the type of services it provides, the Impo project has no restrictions on having an audience in different cities and provinces of Iran; In fact, our service is not limited to Mashhad in any way.
Have you received support from the government and regional organizations of Razavi Khorasan province?
not at all; Because no action has been taken from our side and in fact, no need has been created or raised. We advance the project in a completely private way with the support of investors within the complex itself.
How does Impo generate income?
Our basic service is free and this will be our constant look at the collection; But we have also defined services that are provided on the basis of payment; Such as communication with an expert whose payment is based on our monetary unit -Polar- and other facilities that will be provided in the future development plans.
What vision do you have for the development of Impo?
In the development plan of the Impo project, many attractive services have been defined that cover different age groups and will not be limited to women. We very much hope that soon, we will be able to contact everyone.
Do you have a special moment or memory from the product development process?
Due to the close relationship we have with our audience, almost every day this process has been and continues to be a memory for us, but our most attractive memories are always related to the messages of the audience, about the impact of Impo on their lifestyle and the good mood they feel towards themselves. have, inform; Well, I think that there is no better feeling than the feeling of influence in a job situation.
