Then, regarding the achievements achieved in the World Championships of Malaysia, he stated: The continuous and successful presence of Iranian athletes as well as referees in prestigious and official Muay Thai competitions in recent years has made IFMA open a special account for our country in every way. In this World Championship in Malaysia, we saw how the Iranian team appeared against powerful opponents and was even recognized as the best team in the world in the women’s division. In addition to that, in the refereeing discussion, we saw the influential judgments of Iranian referees in important fights, which shows the special position of Iranian Muay Thai at the world level.
The referee said: I myself judged eight of the 10 final fights in this recent world championship, while referees from other countries were used less, which shows how much IFMA trusts Iranian referees and their performance.
