Tourism is one of the hot startup topics. In the entrepreneurial ecosystem of our own country, we see many entrepreneurs who have taken up the development of a product or service in this field. Negar Nehrezani is one of these entrepreneurs who follow the transformation in tourism with hope and determination. He who Startup He has founded Innovan, he has extensive experience in starting a business and has worked in four other startups. We have had a conversation with Negar Nahramazi and Innuvan to get to know him, which we share with you.

From Start yourself and your activities before Innovan.

I am the supervising writer of the founder of Innovan. I have studied microbiology and bioinformatics as a bachelor’s degree. I completed one of these courses abroad, and after that I had to return to Iran for some reason, and then I got two master’s degrees in MBA (financial management and project management) from Amirkabir University, and after that for 4 years in different companies Marketing And I was engaged in sales and business development. Tourism was not in my field of study and work, but due to personal interest, I started to start a business in this field. Before innovan in 4 Tourism startup I was disappointed that currently one of the same startups is still implementing Ideas It’s mine and I’m very happy that at least my idea is working.

What is the activity of Innovan?

Innovan stands for “innovating wanderlust” and means great passion for creative travel. Innovan offers a special travel program to those who are interested in traveling independently. Traveling independently means that a person plans his own trip apart from travel tours or groups. The special program that is presented to each person in the shortest time is based on the questions that are asked to the users about the budget and number of people, interests, destination, etc.

How to use the service?

First, the user provides us with the desired travel information such as the amount of budget, destination, age range, etc., and after searching, we provide the travel plan for each day with all the details related to the destination, such as types of local food, how to get there. We transfer religion, weather, etc. to the results page in the shortest time for the user to see it.

What is the competitive advantage of Innovan service?

Innovan makes every effort to quickly transfer the travel plan to the user when the user enters their information such as budget, destination, etc. We got and we are training a machine to collect all the information it needs from virtual communities and provide it to the user in the shortest possible time. The information of the Innovan system is according to the user’s budget and covers every type of travel from the least expensive to the most expensive. In the Innovan service, the travel plan is provided exclusively, and there is no culturalization and provision of information such as the dangers of travel, environmental damage during festivals such as the Color Festival, how to behave while being a guest in native houses, and the like, but currently, it is next to the central core of the service. We are preparing a Persian language tourism space that will be provided to the user before the Innovan service to ask their questions in the field of tourism or tourists to present their experiences, photos or travelogues and in this way in order to preserve the environment and Let’s take a step towards culture.

Is there a startup similar to Inuvan inside Iran?

Startup There are those who offer travel plans, but I have not seen travel plans with the details that we provide to the user inside Iran, and there is no system similar to Innovan in Iran yet.

What has been the biggest challenge you have experienced?

Our challenges will be many until the service is provided; In various fields such as technical issues, writing artificial intelligence algorithms and a database where we can collect reliable information for users. Finding the right team, which is considered one of the biggest challenges of any startup anywhere in the world, has been one of Innovan’s challenges; I started the idea alone and at the very beginning two people helped me, one of them was a ui/ux designer and the other was a website designer. Other people also joined me at the beginning, but due to their haste to reach a conclusion or other reasons, they left the team. On the other hand, I needed a technical team to implement the idea, and finally one of the senior graduates of artificial intelligence of Amirkabir University of Technology joined me and made us move from phase 1, where the work was done completely manually, to phase 3, where the work was done manually. It was done completely automatically, let’s move forward. In addition to providing a shared space and workshop, Samsung Technology Center also provided us with a list of trainees, through which 2 people started working with us in the technical field, and our 4-member team was formed in early July. Another challenge is the lack of trust in women as entrepreneurs; In Iran, they give us less opportunities and even investors have less trust in us than male entrepreneurs.

How did you interact with the customer in phase 1?

In the beginning, when the site was in phase 1, we collected the information manually and delivered it to the client. Currently, when we are entering the fully automatic phase, until the launch of the smart site, customers can provide us with information about their trip through Telegram, and we will provide them with the travel plan, and the costs depend on the complexity of the trip. has it. The user can get the program by making a prepayment deposit and if he is satisfied with the program, he can pay the rest of the cost.

Have you attracted investors?

So far apart from Amirkabir Samsung Technology Development Center We did not receive support from anywhere else; Before the Samsung Center, we were located in Finwa co-working space, which stopped working with us after a while.

Does the help of the Samsung Technology Center meet your needs?

We are currently in the first period and this center accepted us outside of the admission period and provided us with work space, workshops and mentors in a completely creditable manner, but cash aid has not been requested from us yet, nor at any stage of It is their plan that we receive cash aid, but expensive services and technologies have been provided to us by this center. If we reached this stage, it was with the help of friends who believed in me and my idea, but due to lack of capital, our progress is a little slow; For example, we don’t have anyone in the field of design and I have to do some things myself, which slows down our process.
