The person in charge of organizing WKFB women’s Kyokushin Karate competitions in Ahvaz said: These competitions started on Thursday, October 28 in Ahvaz and ended on Friday, when the Iranian team won the championship with authority.
Nahid Sarkohki said in an interview with IRNA on Friday night: Afghanistan and Iraq teams won the second and third titles in this tournament.
He said: These competitions were held at the highest level with the presence of participants from 30 provinces of the country and 50 participants from 2 countries, Afghanistan and Iraq.
Pointing out that the women’s competition was held with the presence of more than 500 participants, he continued: Khuzestan province had the most participants in the competition and the athletes of the province shone as always.
Sarkohki said: One of the problems was the lack of time because we did not think that more than 1,500 participants would participate in the men’s and women’s competitions, that is why we had planned the competitions in three days.
It should be mentioned that the best people of these competitions will receive the exquisite prizes and the permission to participate in the world competitions.
