Iran-Switzerland trade section opened


In the presence of Kim Sisler, Deputy Ambassador of Switzerland to Iran, Younes Mazloumi, Secretary of the Insurance Commission of the International Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce and CEO of the Cooperative Insurance Company, Sharif Nezam Mafi, CEO of the Charity Benchmark and a number of CEOs of large industries and businesses, the Iran-Switzerland business sector was inaugurated.
Mazloumi said at the event: “Basically, strengthening international relations has led to strengthening the services of insurance companies as much as possible, and with this view, Cooperative Insurance has strengthened its presence in the formation and development of sectors such as the Iran-Switzerland business sector.” will do.
The Secretary of the Insurance Commission of the Iranian Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce stressed the need to strengthen the presence of insurance companies in the international structure and said: “Despite sanctions, insurance companies should provide services to active international organizations.” And strengthen the interaction between them.
It is worth mentioning that the Cooperative Insurance Company has been a member of the “Customs and Commercial Facilities” and “Digital Economy” commissions of the Iranian Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce, and Younes Mazloumi, the CEO of the company, has been elected as the Secretary of the International Chamber of Commerce Insurance Commission.
Also, considering the opening of the Iran-Switzerland trade sector, it should be noted that Iran-Switzerland relations began in the seventeenth century and since the nineteenth century, cooperation between the two countries in the fields of transportation and banking has been established.
Accordingly, Iran opened its embassy in Bern in 1298 AD, and Switzerland opened its consulate in Tehran in the same year, which became an embassy in 1315.
