Iranian football is in danger of being banned for three years

According to Mehr reporter, Mehdi Taj, the president of the Football Federation and one of the vice presidents of the Asian Football Confederation, discussed the professional license of the clubs in an interview today, and regarding the possibility of removing Esteghlal and Persepolis from Asia, he said: the power of the head of the federation does not play a role in some matters, such as That the manager of a club has the power to change the head coach, but does not have the power to impose technical plans on the head coach. So are we. We do not interfere in the affairs of the professional license committee. We do not have this option either.

He added: If there is a violation that the professional license committee approves and they reject it, like last year when we were banned for two years, but after consultation, we were fined.

The head of the football federation added: “If this issue is repeated, they may ban all football for three years this year, that is, football, beach football, futsal, and the Asian Club Cup.”
