Iranian judokas with the IOC flag in international arenas

According to IRNA; A few days ago, the Supreme Court of Sports announced its final decision regarding the Iranian judo case, and based on this, the suspension of judo in our country remained until September 1402, so that the athletes of this discipline are still not allowed to participate in official competitions.

However, today Tuesday, the Minister of Sports and Youth, Seyed Hamid Sjadi, announced in his press conference: “We received help from the International Olympic Committee during the trip to Switzerland, so that the athletes of this field do not miss out on participating in the competitions.” For example, on the way to the Paris Olympics, we obtained the necessary permits for judokas to participate in quota competitions under the International Olympic Committee flag. Judo’s ban ends close to the Olympics, and international officials agreed that the athletes should not suffer in the meantime.

Having said that, the judokas of our country will participate in the international Olympic quota competitions under the IOC flag, so that they may be able to get the quota to attend Paris.
