Iranian men’s three-man basketball on the verge of globalization



According to IRNA, the national boys’ three-man basketball team was hosted by Qatar in the semi-finals of the World Cup qualifiers and advanced to the finals with a 22-16 victory. The national team will face New Zealand in the final for another hour. The champion team will qualify for the World Cup.

Siamak Weiss’s students will win the tournament if they win against New Zealand and will be allowed to participate in the World Cup.

In the first match, the young team of Iran defeated Malaysia 21-17 and Sri Lanka 21-10 and reached the semifinals.

The national boys’ three-man basketball team of Iran, consisting of Behshad Arabzadeh, Amir Hossein Yazarloo, “Ehsan Dalirzehan and Amir Hossein Rezaeifar”, attended the event.

Ghafoor Kamerva is the technical director and Siamke Veisi is the head coach.
