Iranian Taekwondo girls win the 32nd Fajr Cup



According to IRNA, the 32nd Fajr Cup International Taekwondo Competition was held in the women’s group with 126 taekwondo fighters from 10 countries: Iran, Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, India, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan and the refugee team. The Taekwondo House had started, and finally ended with the victory of our national team.

The Iranian national team stood on the first platform with 932 points. Uzbekistan finished runner-up with 239 points. Kazakhstan came in third with 87 points. Azerbaijan with 84 points, Jordan with 49 points and India with 14 points took the next place.

In the medal section, the Iranian national team won 7 gold and 1 bronze medal. Uzbekistan came in second with one gold and two silver medals, while Iran’s second team with one silver and five bronze medals, Pershin Sazeh Shahsavar with two silver medals, took third and fourth place. Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Jordan also won the next titles.

The best coach: Mehro Kamrani

The most technical taekwondo fighter: Osi Pova (Uzbekistan)

Ethics Cup: Republic of Azerbaijan

Best Supervisor: Roshanak Hosseini (Iran)

Best Referees: Seyedeh Zahra Samadian (Iran) – Ozlim Kakir (Turkey) – Aygul Abdolov (Azerbaijan)

Today, Monday, March 7, on the last day of the competition, 65 taekwondo fighters competed in the 49-, 57-, 67- and 73+ kg weight classes, and the winners were announced as follows:

Second weight (49 kg):

First place: Mobina Nematzadeh (Iran)

Second place: Gharl Soltani (Iran)

Third place: Sara Mizban and Primah Changi (both from Iran)

Fourth weight (57 kg):

First place: Nastaran Valizadeh (Iran)

Second place: Tina Madanloo (Iran)

Third place: Zahra Sheidaei and Negar Azizi (both from Iran)

Sixth weight (-67 kg):

First place: Yasman Mohammadi (Iran)

Second Resistant: Frida Azizova (Azerbaijan)

Third Resistant: Juliana Al-Sadiq (Jordan) and Elham Haghighi (Iran)

Eighth weight (73+ kg):

First place: Asi Pova (Uzbekistan)

Second Resistant: Zahra Pourasmail (Iran)

Third Resistant: Zeinab Ismaili and Akram Khodabandeh (both from Iran)
