Iran’s junior freestyle wrestling team won 10 medals and became the champion of Asia – Mehr news agency Iran and world’s news



According to Mehr News Agency, the Asian Championship Junior Freestyle Wrestling competitions were held on June 22 and 23 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, and at the end of the Iranian team, Ahura Khatiri in 45 kg, Sam Siar in 48 kg, Sina Khalili in 65 kg, Abolfazl Hosseini in 71 kg weight, Abolfazl Rahmani in 80 kg weight, Tawheed Nouri in 92 kg weight won gold medal, Amirreza Timuri Rad in 55 kg weight, Sajjad Pirdayeh in 60 kg weight, Abolfazl Mohammad Nejad in 110 kg weight won silver medal and Amir Mohammad Nawazi won a bronze medal in the weight of 51 kg.

In the team classification, Iran won the championship title with 225 points and with a large margin, and after the Iranian team, the Indian teams with 180 points and Kazakhstan with 158 points were the second and third.

It was while the Iranian team finished fourth last year with 1 gold medal, 3 silver medals and 1 bronze medal and 126 points that the brave Iranian men did their best and won the championship this year with their unique feat.

The results of our country’s wrestlers are as follows:

In the weight of 45 kg, after taking a break in the first round, in the second round, Ahura Khatari defeated Osukh Bat Jordan from Mongolia with a score of 12:0 and went to the semi-finals. In this match, he defeated Yerali Amangaldi from Kazakhstan with a score of 10:0 and qualified for the finals. In this match, Khatri defeated Dhanraj Shiraki from India with a score of 11:0 and won the gold medal.

In the weight of 48 kg, after taking a break in the first round, Sam Siyar defeated Haruya Fukasawa from Japan in the second round with a score of 4:2 and entered the semi-finals. In this match, he won against Yerali Zhetpisov from Kazakhstan with a result of 9:2 and made it to the finals. In the final match, Sayar defeated India with a result of 4:3 and won gold.

In the weight of 51 kg, Amir Mohammad Nawazi defeated Bavodorj from Mongolia with a score of 12:0 in the first round. In the next round, he won against Korsanatbek Isakov from Kyrgyzstan with a score of 9:4 and entered the semi-finals. In this match, he was defeated by Leo Akagi from Japan with a score of 7-0 and a technical blow and went to the ranking match. In this match, he won the bronze medal with an 11-0 victory against Shukhiroun Aliyev from Uzbekistan.

In the weight of 55 kg, after resting in the first round, Amirreza Timurizad defeated Achu Liu from China in the second round with a score of 10:0 and made it to the semi-finals. At this stage, he passed Shahrukh Bek Sapoev from Uzbekistan with a score of 12:10 and qualified for the finals. Timurizad defeated Ankush from India with a result of 6-5 and won the silver medal.

In the weight of 60 kg, after taking a break in the first round, Sajjad Pirdayeh defeated Shamsuddin Jumaboev from Uzbekistan in the second round with a score of 7:2 and went to the semi-finals. In this match, he won 8-4 against Zandanbat Batsaikhan from Mongolia and went to the finals. In this match, he defeated Amorbek Asan Olu from Kyrgyzstan with a score of 2:1 and won the silver medal.

In the weight of 65 kg, Sina Khalili defeated Muhammad Abdullah from Pakistan in the first round with a score of 11:4. In the next round, he defeated Yusaku Tsujita from Japan with a score of 12-0 and reached the semi-finals. At this stage, Khalili defeated Sourabeh from India with a score of 11:0 and qualified for the finals. In this match, he passed the barrier of Rostam Jan Kakharov from Kyrgyzstan with the result of 8:3 and won the gold medal.

In the weight of 71 kg, Abolfazl Hosseini defeated Porudagwa from Mongolia with a score of 10:0 in the first round. In the next round, he defeated Kai Chang from Chinese Taipei with a score of 4:0 and a technical shot and made it to the semi-finals. In this stage, Hosseini won against Alp Arslan Beganjov from Turkmenistan with a score of 12:2 and qualified for the finals. In this match, he won the gold medal against Nordolt Silbekov from Kazakhstan with a score of 6:2.

In the weight of 80 kg, Abolfazl Rahmani defeated Mongolia’s Elite by a score of 4 to 0 in the first round. In the second round, he defeated Dolatgoldi Miradov from Turkmenistan with a score of 4:0. In the semi-final stage, Rahmani defeated Nurasil Yerasil from Kazakhstan with a score of 11:0 and qualified for the final. In this match, he won 10-0 against Saurabh Yadav from India and won the gold medal.

In the weight of 92 kg, Tawheed Nouri defeated Vinai from India in the first round with a score of 7:2 and a technical shot. In the next round, he defeated Suleiman Musagoliev from Turkmenistan with a score of 10:0 and went to the semi-finals. In this match, he defeated Demol Ariontoya from Mongolia with a score of 10-0 and qualified for the finals. In this match, Nouri defeated Samir Dorsonov from Kazakhstan with a score of 4:1 and won the gold medal.

In the weight of 110 kg, Abolfazl Mohammadnejad defeated Matsumoto from Japan in the first round with a score of 10:0. In the next round and in the semi-final stage, he defeated Eldorbek Hasanov from Uzbekistan with a score of 13:0 and made it to the finals. In the final match, Mohammad Nejad lost to Yedigi Kasimbek from Kazakhstan with a score of 8-1 and won the silver medal.
