According to the sports reporter of Tasnim news agency, Iran’s national football team will face Hong Kong and Uzbekistan in two World Cup qualifiers on November 25 and 30. The continuation of these competitions will be held in April and June next year.
In a more important tournament, however, the national team should prepare for the Asian Nations Cup in Qatar, which will be held at the end of January and February of this year.
The national team was supposed to hold a preparatory match against Japan, but this match has not been decided yet. According to the negotiations between the two sides, if this game is decided, the two teams will face each other without their legionnaires.
After visiting Qatar, the national team will hold a preparatory match against Indonesia eight days before the first match in the Asian Nations Cup. This game will be played behind closed doors.
