According to Mehr reporter, the final match of the 19th Asian Games volleyball competition between Iran and China started at 15:00 on Tuesday, and our country’s national team won the match 3-1.
Behrouz Atai, the head coach of the national volleyball team, sent Mohammad Tahir Wadi, Amin Ismailnejad, Seyed Mohammad Mousavi, Mohammad Walizadeh, Amir Hossein Esfandiar, Shahrouz Homayunfarmanesh, Mohammad Reza Hazratpour to the field for this match.
Iran’s national volleyball team, which was under pressure and criticism due to unexpected results in the League of Nations and runner-up in Asia, entered this field with the intention of winning the gold medal, but in the first set of this match, the Chinese volleyball team was able to win with the result 25 to 19 to win the field.
In the second set, Atai’s students made up for the defeat of the first set and won the field with a big difference of 25-13.
In the third set, like the second set, the national volleyball team was the best team on the field and won with the result of 25-22 and took this set as their own.
The fourth set of this match went consecutively and both teams were trying to win this field, however, Atai’s students were able to finish this sensitive and breathtaking game with the result of 26-24 in their favor and win this match.
By winning this victory, the Iranian national volleyball team was able to register the first gold medal of the Iranian caravan.
