According to Mehr news agency, the selected freestyle wrestling team of our country has participated in this tournament, which is held in the adult age category, with Ebrahim Khovari in the weight of 57 kg, Mohammad Reza Shakri in the weight of 65 kg and Ali Rezaei in the weight of 70 kg. In the weight of 57 kg, after taking a break in the first round, Ibrahim Khoari defeated Sachileh from Germany in the second round and made it to the semi-finals. At this stage, he defeated Tamirjanov from Kazakhstan with a score of 10-1 and made it to the finals. Khwari won the gold medal due to the injury of the German opponent and not appearing in the final match.
In the weight of 65 kg, after taking a break in the first round, Mohammadreza Shakri defeated Yigit from Turkey with a score of 10:0 in the second round. In the next round, he defeated Babazadeh from Azerbaijan with a score of 6:1 and qualified for the finals. . In the final match, Shakri defeated Ajar from Turkey with a score of 10:2 and won the gold medal.
In the weight of 70 kg, after resting in the first round, Ali Rezaei defeated Yavuz from Turkey in the second round. In the next round and in the semi-final stage, he passed the barrier of another Turkish opponent with a score of 11:0 and made it to the finals. In the final match, he lost to Bashir Khanif from Azerbaijan with a score of 11:6 and won the silver medal.
