Isfahan Post Intelligent Logistics and E-Commerce Innovation Center was launched

The Director General of Isfahan Post said on Thursday: “This center has sections of business clinics with the aim of providing business advice and specialized training in the field of post and e-commerce, as well as a center for attracting and cultivating ideas in cooperation with Isfahan Azad University.”
Hamid Bagheri, referring to the eight percent share of Isfahan province in the country’s postal units and the selection of the province as a pilot, in setting up the Innovation Center, continued: “The policy-making of this center has been done under the supervision of the Ministry of Communications and Science and Technology Park.” It will work to accelerate the provision of new postal services.
Referring to the importance of developing the digital economy in the world, Bagheri added: “In order not to lag behind the world and businesses in this field, we have to create innovative activities.”
Isfahan Post General Manager Babian said that solving packaging problems in the field of post, designing postal tracking application, designing digital stamps are among the initial measures on the center’s agenda: providing smart post, integrated logistics, payment systems, clean and electric transportation, trading platform Electronics and the use of advanced intelligent transportation technologies are among the features and functions of this center in the province.
According to him, the private sector will be included in the Stop (e-commerce platform) plan and this plan, as a powerful arm of the post, and will contribute to the realization of e-commerce, and we hope that all active actors will be present.
Bagheri pointed out: the province’s post office with 997 postal units has a share of eight percent of the country’s postal units and is currently one of the leading provinces in terms of communications and the country’s postal network.
He said: “Intelligent logistics and the development of e-commerce will increase per capita shipments and product development (postal traffic), which in this regard, we welcome the entry and cooperation of accelerators and businesses.”
52% of postal units in Isfahan, urban and 48% in rural areas of the province provide services to citizens.
The population coverage of each postal unit in the province is lower than the national average and now each postal unit in the province covers 4,991 people and on average in the country each postal unit covers 5,829 people.
The coverage of each postal unit in Isfahan province is 102 and in the country this figure is 115 square kilometers.
