The President of Isfahan University of Arts pointed out: “Today, handicraft products that are produced in workshops have become decorative products, while a very small amount of household consumption is allocated to decorative items, while we can import These products increase people’s daily lives, the amount of their use and ultimately the sale of handicrafts.

Nasr Esfahani continued: “For example, in handicraft workshops, you can produce handicraft plates of acceptable quality for use in different cases, or use works such as enamel in home appliances in different forms, such as refrigerator handles or lock covers.” The input or switch socket or pottery should be produced in such a way that it can be used at home or at work.

He pointed to the production of construction materials and noted: For example, today, Italian handmade tiles are used in construction in our country, while we have a long history in the field of tile production in our country and why Iranian handmade tiles should not be used.

Nasr Esfahani, emphasizing that each of these cases can be a new idea to produce different products in workshops and factories, stated: To achieve this goal, it is necessary to use the capacity of knowledge-based companies and technology to produce products. Produced with appropriate quality and maintaining originality.

He said that the plan to apply handicrafts in people’s lives also requires risky investment, he said: On the other hand, the development of products such as handicrafts is considered a clean industry and in our country, including Isfahan province, suitable physical space, skilled professors, There are workshops required for it.

The president of Isfahan University of Arts also considered it necessary to create a new demand and market for such handicraft products and added: the implementation of any idea and launching a production line for it can create thousands of jobs and this issue is a solution for the development of regions. Emphasizing that the ways of development and job creation are not the creation of polluting and wastewater factories next to traditional cities with huge cultural and heritage capacities, he noted: “Today, in many small cities in Europe, sustainable employment and ecosystems are being created.” Boom) We are an economy based on their historical background, which also prevents migration to cities.

Nasr Esfahani, pointing out that the application of handicrafts in people’s lives can be considered as a pillar of sustainable development and based on the historical and economic capacities of each region in the Seventh Development Plan, expressed hope that this issue in the laws and Regulations to be supported.

He said that this project is implemented in the form of social responsibility of Isfahan University of Arts about the third and fourth generation of universities and entrepreneurship and community orientation, adding: “We are consulting with various departments, including the Isfahan Chamber of Commerce in order to implement it.” .

The President of Isfahan University of Arts pointed out: We invite idea makers to refer to the Center for Specialized Development of Art in Isfahan to be examined if they have any ideas or plans in this field.

He added: There are about 27 knowledge-based companies and technology centers in this growth center.

Isfahan University of Arts has about three thousand students and 105 faculty members in six faculties of architecture and urban planning, restoration, visual and applied arts, entrepreneurship and art economics, handicrafts and the art of religions and civilizations.

Isfahan, as the second world city of handicrafts throughout history, has played an important role in the growth and development of culture and civilization of this ancient land.

Out of 602 handicrafts identified in the world, 299 are related to Iran and 196 of them are related to the historical and artistic province of Isfahan, of which 40,000 people have been organized so far.
