Hossein Thori’s four-year presidency of the Boxing Federation ended on Sunday, January 25, and the Minister of Sports immediately appointed a caretaker to ensure fair conditions for holding the election.
The Electoral Assembly of the Boxing Federation is scheduled to be held on January 7th.
Ruhollah Hosseini and Hossein Thori are two candidates for the post of President of the Boxing Federation, whose documents have been submitted to the relevant authorities for final approval.
The Minister of Sports and Youth had previously, on Saturday, appointed Jalal Nademi as the Secretary of the Boxing Federation Assembly and replaced him with Hamid Ghobayzadeh.
