According to Mehr News Agency, the 22nd Asian Women’s Volleyball Championship will be held from September 11 to 19 in Thailand, with the participation of 14 teams, hosted by Thailand.

The draw for this tournament was held today (Thursday, March 25) and the Iranian women’s national volleyball team announced its preliminary round opponents. Based on this, Iran’s volleyball women were grouped with Japan and India in the second group in the preliminary stage.

The grouping of the preliminary stage of the 2023 Asian Women’s Volleyball Championship is as follows:

Group A: Thailand, Australia and Mongolia

Group B: Japan, Iran and India

Group C: South Korea, Chinese Taipei, Vietnam and Uzbekistan

Group D: China, Kazakhstan, Hong Kong and the Philippines

Iran’s women’s national volleyball team will face Japan and India on the first and second days of the preliminary stage and rest on the third day of the group stage.

At the end of the preliminary stage, the top two teams of groups A and C will face each other in the new group (four teams in total) and the top two teams of groups B and D will face each other in the second stage of the competition, and the results of the two teams of each group in the first round will be in The new table will be included.
