According to IRNA; Antonio Spinoza, the Spanish president of the World Karate Federation, who is trying to keep the excitement alive in this field and, of course, to generate income for the World Karate Federation, made another unexpected decision. A decision that faces a new challenge for all countries, especially Iran. However, Spinoza has stated that he is trying to bring karate back to the Olympics.
Accordingly, the 2023 World Adult Karate Championship in Budapest, the capital of Hungary, is a quota, and world karatekas must qualify for the World Championships by participating in various stages of the World League and, of course, the continental competitions.
According to this decision, in order not to lose the quota, the countries must participate in the various stages of the World League and their representatives must be present on the tatami, otherwise their chances of participating in the World Cup will be minimized.
According to the decision of the World Federation, the top 32 people in each weight category will be allowed to participate in the World Championships.

Top 8 through ranking
6 people through direct quota competition
14 people from 5 continents
2 people quota of the World Federation
A former world champion
One person host quota
Under these circumstances, the Iranian Karate Federation, which, like other federations, is facing many financial problems, has a very difficult path to participate in various stages of the World League and ultimately earn a quota to participate in world championships. It will be unlikely that the Iranian federation will be able to cope without the support of the ministry and the committee.

Portuguese League, Lisbon / April 25-28, 1401
Moroccan League, Rabat / 23 to 25 May
Azerbaijan League, Baku / September 11-13
Russian League, Moscow / October 15-17
