Karate for the Deaf of the World; The Iranian women’s team committee became the champion



According to IRNA, in the World Deaf Karate Championship hosted by Tehran, after four days of competition, the Iranian team relied on the first platform and the Russian and Ukrainian teams won the second and third titles.

In individual kata, Mojdeh Mardan from Iran won the gold medal, and athletes from Ukraine and Russia came in second and third. In team kata, the Iranian team consisting of Nahid Amiri, Samaneh Borji and Parvin Yareh stood in second place after Ukraine and won the silver medal.

In the weight category less than 50 kg, Hakimeh Zakizadeh won the silver medal and the athletes from Russia and Ukraine came first and third.

In the weight category of minus 55, Zeinab Hassanpour from Iran won a bronze medal and the Ukrainian athletes won the first and second platforms. In the weight category of minus 61 kg, Mahnaz Hassanzadeh from Iran won a bronze medal and the athletes from Ukraine and Greece became first and second.

In the weight category minus 68, Sara Adria from Iran won the gold medal and became the second Ukrainian athlete. In this weight, the representatives of Turkey and Russia agreed to the joint third place.

In the overweight category of 68 kg, Bita Javaheri stood on the first platform and won the gold medal, and the athletes from Turkey and Russia came in second and third.

In the team committee, the Iranian team won the competition with Ukraine and won the championship.
